Export or delete your data
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to access, correct, and delete personal data Nkosuo holds about you. Here's how.
1. Export your data
If you're signed in, your watchlists, portfolio, and alerts are visible on their respective pages. You can copy-paste the data today; a one-click JSON export is a Phase 2 addition.
To request a machine-readable export of all data we hold on you, email privacy@nkosuo.com from the address on your account. We will fulfil the request within 30 days and deliver a JSON bundle.
2. Delete your account
If you have only used the browser-stored features (watchlists, portfolio, alerts) without signing in, you can clear local storage in your browser settings or via the Nkosuo footer “Reset simulator” / “Delete list” controls.
If you have a signed-in account, email privacy@nkosuo.com with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will confirm the request, delete your account and associated data within 30 days, and notify you when the deletion is complete.
3. Correct inaccurate data
If something we publish about you (for example, as an issuer or licensed firm covered in our editorial) is inaccurate, email corrections@nkosuo.com. Material corrections will also appear on our public corrections ledger.
4. Lodge a complaint
If we have not resolved your concern, you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission — dataprotection.org.gh.
