Bootcamp FAQ
The questions we get most often. If yours isn't here, email bootcamp@nkosuo.com.
Are bootcamps a recommendation to invest in anything?
No. Every bootcamp is educational. Nkosuo does not provide personalised investment advice, buy / sell / hold recommendations, or guaranteed returns. We teach reading and reasoning — never specific picks. See the legal summary for the full posture.
Who runs the bootcamps?
The Nkosuo editorial team plus invited specialist facilitators (analysts, lecturers, ex-broker professionals). Facilitator names are confirmed at registration close. We never invite anyone whose business model conflicts with our non-advisory posture.
How much do bootcamps cost?
Pricing for the public cohorts is being finalised with our Ghanaian payment partners. Until then, registrations record interest only — we email you exact pricing and payment instructions before any money changes hands. No autopay, no hidden fees.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes — every bootcamp includes a certificate of completion when you attend at least 80% of the sessions and submit the closing exercises. The certificate is a teaching record; it is not a regulatory licence and it does not qualify you to advise others on investments.
Is there homework?
Yes — a small amount, designed so the cohort sessions stay active rather than lecture-only. Most exercises run on the public Nkosuo platform (paper trading, methodology pages, screener) so you build platform fluency at the same time.
What if I miss a session?
Sessions are recorded and shared with the cohort. Missing one is fine; missing more than two means you forfeit the certificate but keep access to the materials.
Can I attend from outside Ghana?
Yes. The Diaspora Investor cohort is timed specifically for UK / EU / North-American evenings. Other cohorts run on Ghana local evenings — check the cohort card for exact local hours.
Will you teach me to pick winning stocks?
No. We teach you to read, reason, and recognise risk. Anyone who promises picking is either selling something or wrong. The most valuable skill we can transfer is recognising when you don't have enough information to make a decision yet.
Can I get my data deleted after the bootcamp?
Yes. Use /data-requests to request export or deletion of your account and bootcamp records. We process material requests within 30 days.
How do I withdraw from a registration?
Visit /account/bootcamp and cancel the registration; or email bootcamp@nkosuo.com. Cancellation policy details ship alongside paid pricing.
